jennifer_moon@hcpss.org: I loved to draw and paint since I was a child. When I turned fourteen, my family immigrated to the states from Korea, and art was the only class that I enjoyed the most in high school. My high school (Mt. Hebron) art teacher helped me tremendously to grow as a young artist, and I was able to attend Maryland Institute College of Art with some scholarships. After graduating from MICA, I decided to become an art teacher to inspire young artists (just like my high school art teacher). I first taught a few years in PG County and received my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree at the University of Maryland in Baltimore County. Now, I am here at the Reservoir, teaching Art I for the second year, and I absolutely LOVE it!
